10 A.M. – Visit Lantau Island

Start exploring Hong Kong with one of the most distant islands and move slowly to the downtown of the city.

You can get to the island by local underground.

There’s an impressive trail for hikers that you can take and in as much as an hour or a little more you will find yourself at the Lantau Peak.

There are two ways possible: to head to the Peak from a Buddhist monastery Po Lin, or start at the second stage of the trail named Pak Kung Au and reach amazing landscapes.

There’s no food at the peak so make sure you eat before you go or make a sandwich with you.

2 P.M. – Sunbathe At the Beach

There’s one beach in Hong Kong where tourists usually choose to have a relaxing time in Hong Kong.

The name of the beach that you are looking for is Upper Cheung Sha Beach.

5 P.M. – Snatch a Nap in the Hotel

Now it’s high time to head to the hotel and to have the rest that you deserve with a few hours of sleep. Switch the mobile off.

Charge your camera for the next pack of splendid views.

7 P.M. – Reach Victoria Peak

An air tram will take you up to the Peak, of the Mount Austin.

The peak is located at an altitude of 552 m and is considered the highest one in Hong Kong.

The camera should not only be charged to the full, but it should be a relevant one for the night shooting.

9 P.M. – Eat at Mott 32

Because this is the most popular restaurant in the city with the branches in Vancouver and Las Vegas.

They serve you traditional dishes like Dim Sum or Barbeque Pluma Iberico Pork which are always masterpieces there.

What is more, the interior is a masterpiece too with all those traditional decor and ornaments.

11 P.M. – Listen to House Music in Drop

That’s how you can diligently finish your first day in Hong Kong.

The best spot to listen to house music in the city is Drop.

This is considered the best nightclub where you should book in advance, get well-dressed and meet the locals and the tourists just like you.

1 A.M. – Time to Rest

9 A.M. – Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade

If you’ve chosen to have breakfast in a hotel, take some time to eat well and go for a new portion of adventures in the city.

Go to the Tsim Sha Tsui Promenade in Kowloon to see the Central District and Victoria Harbor.

The water brings you special energy and relaxation.

10 A.M. – Take the Star Ferry

Explore another island in Hong Kong by taking a ferry boat which will show you around the harbor.

The tickets are inexpensive and can be bought at the waterfront.

The lower section is a bit polluted by the fumes from the boat, so the better places are in the upper section.

11 A.M. – Man Mo Temple

The Man (the god of literature) Mo (the god of war) Temples are actually numerous in Hong Kong.

Nevertheless, there’s one temple which is the most visited by religious people and tourists.

This one is the most important one for the Hong Kong locals.

The name of the temple that you are looking for is Sheung Wan.

In the middle of the 19th century, students used to pray for success during exams there.

12 P.M. – Eat Congee

This is one of the most popular and delicious dishes that are served not far from the territory of the temple.

Head to Kee Congee Shop to have this rice dish with vegetables and meat in order to stay full for a long time as you travel.

3 P.M. – Shopping Time

The same Star Ferry that has brought you to the Hong Kong Island is now ready to ship you back to the city.

Now you need to reach Tsuen Wan Line from the Shim Tsa Tsui station.

Your places of destination are rather Mong Kok which is the most crowded shopping area in Hong Kong, or Yau Ma Tei which has some traditional stalls and counters.

Designer things, luxury show-cases, souvenir shops are all for you there.

7 P.M. – Eat Dim Sum

Another great spot in Hong Kong to eat Dim Sum for dinner is One Dim Sum restaurant which is truly Chinese.

You should buy and try it if you want traditional Chinese food served in a basket or on a plate followed with tea.

They are not limited to this dish, so you should browse the menu to choose something delicious which appeals to you.

9 P.M. – Sit Back, Relax, Enjoy

Drinking in Hong Kong with a view is possible at the restaurants with the highest location possible.
