4. Saint Beatus Cave

An underground kingdom is located just 6 kilometers from the famous mountain-lake resort of Interlaken.

According to the legend, a real dragon lived here many centuries ago.

Another, more scientific version, says that the cave was once occupied by a monster of impressive size, which scared the locals with the mere thought of its real existence.

The brave man Beatus Lungernsky, or Saint Beatus fought with a living hulk and stayed in a cave.

Thanks to the legend, you can ride an underground ship in the form of a dragon, and a fire-breathing creature will meet you at the entrance.

The tourist complex contains a number of mystical cave labyrinths, many stalactites, and stalagmites over 40 thousand years old, waterfalls and underground streams.

There is a museum of minerals, a park and a restaurant of Swiss cuisine, a playground and almost always empty car parking.
